What is a video montage?
A montage video is a compilation of video clips and photos placed in a sequence to create a memorable video. A popular video technique in film making and on social media, montage videos are a powerful storytelling tool to convey a theme, narrative, and message. Montage videos have a cinematic feel. Video editors also call these collage videos.
Elements of a great montage video
Smooth scene transitions
Change between different clips or photos using transitions. You can also adjust the pace of your video by making the transition between two assets slow or fast. Try professional video transitions like glitch, swipe, fading to black or white, jump cuts, and more.
Soft background music or voiceover
Set the tone of your montage video by adding soft royalty-free music to the background or create an engaging voiceover. Search a range of hand-curated audio categories to find the perfect music to suit your video theme, like upbeat rhythms or lo-fi slow tunes. If you want to take your montage video one step further, create an informative AI voiceover to enhance your video's mood or add humor.
Stylish frame overlays
Level up your video’s style by adding unique video overlays like frames and borders. Choose from decorative vintage frames, rainbow flashing lights, and modern abstract borders, to add a unique twist to your montage video.
Informative motion titles
Give your montage video a title with the help of animated text. Using text and titles can add emphasis on talking points, add context, and refine any video in seconds. Select various styles of titles, fonts, colors, sizes, positions, and themes.
